Join Reviewers Teams

The Review of Law and Social Sciences (RLSS) invites qualified scholars, researchers, and academic professionals to join its reviewers’ panel. RLSS is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal committed to publishing high-quality research in law, socio-legal studies, and the social sciences. The journal seeks to build a strong and diverse panel of national and international reviewers who can contribute to maintaining the quality, integrity, and scholarly rigor of the peer review process.

About RLSS

RLSS provides an interdisciplinary platform for research on the relationship between law, society, governance, justice, public policy, institutions, and social change. The journal welcomes original and analytically rigorous scholarship across relevant areas of law and the social sciences and follows a double-blind peer review process.

Who Can Apply

RLSS welcomes applications from scholars and professionals with expertise in areas relevant to the journal’s scope, including but not limited to:

  • law and legal studies

  • criminology and criminal justice

  • sociology and social policy

  • social work and community studies

  • political science, governance, and public policy

  • international relations, peace, and conflict studies

  • media, communication, and society

  • related interdisciplinary areas within law and the social sciences

Applicants should normally hold a PhD or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field. Preference may be given to individuals with a record of scholarly publication, prior peer review experience, or demonstrated research expertise in their area of specialization.

Role and Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers are expected to:

  • provide objective, constructive, and timely reviews of submitted manuscripts

  • evaluate submissions on originality, relevance, methodological rigor, clarity, and scholarly contribution

  • maintain confidentiality of manuscripts and the peer review process

  • disclose any conflict of interest that may affect an impartial review

  • adhere to the ethical and professional standards of the journal

Scholars who wish to serve as reviewers for RLSS are invited to send the following by email:

  • an updated curriculum vitae (CV)

  • current institutional affiliation and designation

  • areas of research and reviewing expertise

  • a list of recent publications, if available
