Publishing Agreement
Before submitting a manuscript to the Review of Law and Social Sciences (RLSS), authors are required to confirm that they agree to the following conditions. Submission of a manuscript to RLSS will be taken as confirmation that all authors have read, understood, and accepted these terms.
Author Declaration
By submitting a manuscript to RLSS, the author(s) confirm that:
1. Originality of the Work
The submitted manuscript is original, has been prepared by the stated author(s), and has not been previously published in whole or in substantial part in any journal, book, conference proceedings, or other publication outlet, except where clearly disclosed and properly cited.
2. Exclusive Submission
The manuscript is not under consideration by any other journal, publisher, or publication platform at the time of submission to RLSS. Authors agree not to submit the same manuscript simultaneously to another journal while it is under editorial consideration at RLSS.
3. Authorship Responsibility
All listed authors have made a genuine scholarly contribution to the work, have approved the final version of the manuscript, and agree to its submission to RLSS. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors are properly included and have consented to the submission.
4. Accuracy and Integrity of the Submission
The manuscript does not contain fabricated, falsified, plagiarized, defamatory, fraudulent, obscene, unlawful, or otherwise unethical material. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of all data, quotations, references, permissions, and factual claims contained in the manuscript.
5. Compliance with Journal Policies
The manuscript has been prepared in accordance with the journal’s Author Guidelines, including requirements relating to formatting, references, ethical standards, and submission procedures.
6. Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain copyright in their work and agree that, if the manuscript is accepted for publication, it will be published in RLSS under the journal’s stated copyright and licensing policy, including the applicable Creative Commons license.
7. Third-Party Material
If the manuscript contains material owned by third parties, including figures, tables, images, extended quotations, or other copyrighted content, the author(s) confirm that they have obtained all necessary permissions for its use and publication and have provided appropriate acknowledgment in the manuscript.
8. Conflicts of Interest and Ethical Disclosure
Authors agree to disclose any conflict of interest, financial support, funding source, institutional involvement, or other relationship that may influence the interpretation or presentation of the research. Where the research involves human participants, sensitive data, or institutional approval requirements, authors must ensure that all relevant ethical standards have been met.
9. Withdrawal and Duplicate Submission
If authors decide to withdraw a manuscript from RLSS, they must notify the editorial office in writing before the manuscript is accepted for publication. Submission of the same manuscript to another journal during the RLSS review or editorial process without formal withdrawal may be treated as a breach of publication ethics.
Acceptance of the Agreement
Submission of a manuscript to RLSS constitutes the author(s)’ formal acceptance of this Publishing Agreement and confirmation that the manuscript complies with the journal’s editorial, ethical, and legal requirements.
