Abstract

The law and and cultural aspects of families are changed due to modernization among families. Families as well as societies both amalgamated various fluctuations because of the factors including modernization which is categorized by industrialization and urbanization. Families are the elementary component of each society. This study includes the impacts of modernization on cultural circumstances, communication of family members and education of families in Lahore. A qualitative research lens was used, and data was totally dependent on emic and etic perspectives of the respondents. Primary data was used, and it was collected through interviews from the participants. The results show that modernization has impacts on socio-cultural circumstances, socio-economic situations, communication of family members and education of families. Therefore, modernization has both tasks and chances for the cultural as well as social factors of families.
