Exploring Cultural and Intellectual Experiences: A Study of Students Campus Life at a Public Sector University in Pakistan’s Federal Capital

This research investigates the multifaceted cultural and intellectual experiences of students within the campus life of prominent public sector universities situated in the Federal Capital of Pakistan. The study seeks to explore the diverse dimensions of student experiences, including social and cultural engagement, academic involvement, social interactions, extracurricular activities, and the influence of cultural diversity on intellectual growth. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the researcher employed qualitative interviews to gather comprehensive data. Through these interviews, the study aims to capture nuanced student narratives, exploring their perceptions, challenges, and aspirations within the university environment. The central focus is on elucidating how cultural diversity within the university shapes students’ intellectual development and social interactions. Factors such as language barriers, cultural norms, and religious practices are explored to assess their impacts on students’ academic pursuits and campus life experiences.
